 Today we learned how to write informational essays. Honestly, this is my least favorite type of essay to write but Mr. Rease made it easier. The prompt was about student loan debt.

 Today was a virtual day so we didn't do anything. I was able to get a lot of work done for one of my classes and I took the rest of the day to just chill. I was really behind in my AP US History class so I'm glad I got some work done.

Emily Dickinson

 Today we read a poem called I Felt a Funeral, in my Brain by Emily Dickinson. In the poem, she talks about having a mental illness and its effects on her. She uses an extended metaphor about her feeling like she's being buried alive due to this mental illness. I can relate to this because I deal with a lot of mental illnesses and it often feels suffocating. If I let it bottle up for too long it feels unbearable and it's a lot to deal with.

Pop Quiz Day

 Today we had a pop quiz. Due to my absences from the past week, I was unable to take the quiz, but I learned a lot from the review. I gained the knowledge of how to properly answer multiple choice questions by eliminating the two wrong choices.
